The Kuwait Meteorological Department has forecast extremely hot and humid weather for the upcoming weekend. Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, the director of the administration, informed KUNA that the weather will be influenced by the Indian monsoon’s low pressure, bringing hot and dry air masses along with fast northwesterly winds, particularly in the western regions.
On Friday, the weather is expected to be very hot with light to moderate northwesterly winds, sometimes reaching speeds of up to 40 kilometres per hour, with a possibility of dust in the western regions. Maximum temperatures are anticipated to range between 47 and 49 degrees Celsius, with sea waves between 2 and 5 feet.
Saturday will remain extremely hot, with light to moderate northwesterly winds blowing at speeds between 10 and 38 kilometres per hour. The maximum temperatures are expected to be between 47 and 50 degrees Celsius.
