The 'Positive Spirit' Initiative by Dubai Police concluded the Football Buds Championship at Shabab Al Ahli fields. Over 108 young players from National Charity Schools participated in the tournament, organized into nine teams based on their birth years: 2012, 2013, and 2014.
In the 2013 birth year category, National Charity School Ajman clinched the championship. The National Charity School Primary Abu Hail topped the 2014 category, while National Charity School Sharjah secured first place in the 2012 category.
Mr. Ibrahim Abu Zaid, Assistant Director General of the National Charity Schools and Mr. Hassan Sawalma, Headmaster of the National Charity School for Boys in Dubai presented the crowning ceremony. Coach Adel Youssef from Shabab Al Ahli Club, Ms. Fatima Bouhajir, General Coordinator of the Positive Spirit Initiative, and Lieutenant Mariam Abdullah were also present at the event.
The championship featured academic activities such as a session on 'Your Commitment to Happiness,' delivered by Lieutenant Nabit Sultan Al Ketbi. The aim was to enhance communication among clubs and sports enthusiasts, foster unity in bringing joy to fans, promote positive support culture, convey uplifting messages and encourage constructive criticism among all involved parties. Ten private schools from Dubai participated in the seminar.
