The Emirates Group has recently declared a substantial employee bonus following an exceptional year of financial success. Employees will receive a bonus equivalent to 20 weeks of their salary with their May payroll, marking a significant reward for their contributions.
This year's bonus, though substantial, is slightly less than the previous year's, where employees enjoyed a 24-week salary bonus.
2023-24 has been a landmark year for Emirates Group, showcasing a record profit of Dh18.7 billion, an impressive 71% increase from the previous year. This growth is attributed to robust passenger revenues, which surpassed the AED 100 billion mark for the first time.
The group's workforce has expanded by 10% to a record 112,406 employees, representing over 170 nationalities across 84 countries.
Emirates and its affiliate, dnata, have reported significant gains in profit and revenue. The strategic expansions and investments over the past year have evidently positioned the group to effectively leverage increasing global travel demand.
In communications with the staff, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group described the fiscal year as memorable, driven by strategic foresight and a talented team. The group is poised for continued growth, aiming to build on its current successes.
