Dubai: Emirates has announced its plans to expand flight schedules across the region for the upcoming Eid Al Fitr holiday period. With an expected surge in travel demand, the airline is adding 19 additional flights to cater to the needs of more than 150,000 customers during Eid.
The airline's expansion plans include additional flights from Jeddah, Kuwait, Beirut and Amman. These extra flights aim to provide customers with more flexibility in their travel plans and facilitate visits to popular destinations such as Dubai, London, the Maldives, Colombo and Karachi.
Emirates will add seven extra flights to Jeddah from 7-13 April. This increase in flights will allow customers to explore various destinations or reunite with family and friends in Colombo and Karachi.
In Kuwait, Emirates will operate six extra flights between 7 and 20 April. These additional flights will cater to the high travel demand during this period. The flights are scheduled with more options to visit leisure destinations like Dubai, Bangkok, and Osaka, and return to Chennai, Hyderabad, Sialkot and Peshawar.
Emirates' flight schedule to Bahrain will expand to 22 weekly flights starting 2 May. This increase in frequency is in response to the growing demand for travel to and from the Kingdom.
To accommodate more travellers, Emirates will add four additional flights to Amman and two extra flights to Beirut. These additional flights will provide passengers with more travel options to these popular destinations.
