Dubai RTA announces temporary bus route adjustments for UAE National Day celebrations

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced temporary adjustments to bus services connecting Dubai and Abu Dhabi, effective from November 29 to December 3. These changes coincide with the long weekend, anticipating a significant increase in commuter demand.

The E100 bus route will now operate from Ibn Battuta Bus Station instead of Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, continuing to Abu Dhabi. Additionally, the E102 route will run from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Mussafah Shabiya Bus Station in Abu Dhabi. For those seeking alternatives, taxi services between the two emirates remain available, with the recently launched taxi-sharing initiative offering up to 75% savings on travel costs.

In a separate announcement, RTA unveiled three new bus routes in Dubai, starting today, November 29:

- Route 108: A direct link from Satwa Bus Station to Global Village, operating on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and during special events. Service hours run from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. the following day, with 11 trips per direction and a 60-minute frequency.

- Route F63 and Route J05: Further details on these routes have yet to be elaborated.

The changes aim to enhance commuter convenience during the busy weekend and improve connectivity across the city.
