Abu Dhabi launches Dh3.5 billion Yas Canal Residential Project

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi witnesses the dawn of a transformative residential venture with the unveiling of the Yas Canal housing project. Offering 1,146 residential villas exclusively for Emiratis.

Under the auspices of Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the Yas Canal residential project receives an official endorsement. This approval signals a commitment to strengthening the residential landscape of Al Raha Beach.

With a budget of Dh3.5 billion, the Yas Canal project is a collaborative effort between the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, Abu Dhabi Centre for Projects and Infrastructure, and the ICT Real Estate Development Company. Anticipated to conclude by the final quarter of 2027, the project promises a modern living environment for Emirati families.

Emphasizing the leadership's dedication to providing superior housing, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed highlights the project's role in meeting the diverse needs of Emirati households. By prioritizing comfort and community, the project aims to elevate the overall quality of life for residents while fostering social stability.

In line with a public-private partnership model, ICT Real Estate Development Company spearheads the design, construction and infrastructure development of the Yas Canal project. Supervised by the Abu Dhabi Centre for Projects and Infrastructure, residential unit sales are efficiently managed by the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority.

Encompassing an area of 1.8 square kilometres, the Yas Canal project integrates essential amenities such as mosques, schools, gyms and shops across 10,000 square meters. The residential villas, spanning between 350 to 525 square meters, offer a spacious and modern living experience for Emirati families.

Embracing inclusivity, the Yas Canal project extends housing loan opportunities to UAE citizens through the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority. Further, residents can select from a diverse range of architectural designs, ensuring individual preferences are catered to with precision.
