The Ministry of Education, in coordination with the Emirates schools establishment, has announced that it will allow the gradual return of the regular learning for all academic levels in public schools and various emirates of the UAE, starting from February 14th until the end of the academic year.
The Ministry said in a statement that the option of distance learning or e-learning will remain available until the end of the school year, considering the wishes of the parents of students.
The Ministry also said that Hybrid learning, where students can combine both traditional classroom experiences or attend virtually from home will be made available to offer further flexibility.
It also stressed the need to adhere to precautionary, preventive and health measures, and in order to avoid the legal action in case of violations.
Earlier, the Ministry said that students in the country may return to in-classroom education for face-to-face learning at 50 per cent of the institutional capacity. The move comes after the recommendations of the competent authorities with regard to current health situation and feedback from parents and students.
