LIV Golf is set to launch its 2025 season in Riyadh this week, bringing an exciting new chapter to the league. The tournament, presented by Ma’aden, will take place from February 6 to 8 at Riyadh Golf Club, marking the first time LIV Golf has been hosted in the Saudi capital. Adding to the spectacle, the event will be played under floodlights, offering fans a unique viewing experience and aligning with the city's vibrant nightlife and entertainment scene.
This season opener introduces a fresh challenge for LIV Golf’s 54 players as they compete on a new course. Riyadh Golf Club, which has seen some of LIV’s top players claim victories in previous events, now takes center stage for what promises to be an electrifying weekend. The tournament will feature a shotgun start at 6:15 pm local time on Thursday and Friday, with the final round teeing off at 6:05 pm on Saturday.
Beyond the competition, fans can look forward to a festival atmosphere with world-class entertainment each night. Thursday’s lineup will feature Ahmed Saad, Cheb Khaled, and DJ Snake, while Friday will see Arab streaming sensation Wegz and European DJ Salvatore Ganacci energizing the crowd before the Backstreet Boys take the stage. Following the tournament’s conclusion on Saturday, Egyptian superstar Tamer Hosny and Saudi artist RDJ will bring the event to a spectacular close.
The fan experience at the tournament will extend beyond the course, with LIV Golf introducing The Boulevard, a futuristic fan village featuring virtual-reality golfing games, e-sports activations, and interactive activities for all ages. Additional attractions include the Nerf x LIV Golf Ultimate Challenge Zone and Birdie’s Bowling Alley, alongside a variety of food and beverage stations and prime viewing areas.
