Destroyed 29 enemy drones that targeted Riyadh, others: Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced that it has destroyed 29 enemy drones that targeted Riyadh and the Eastern Provinces in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Air Defense Forces successfully repelled various attacks that took place in the early hours of this morning (Sunday).

Defense Ministry spokesman Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki announced that two drones were destroyed in the Eastern Province at 12:59 this morning. Then at 01:56, another drone was destroyed in the same area. At 03:37 in the morning, the defence forces shot down three drones in the Eastern Province, and at 04:58, seven drones in Riyadh and the Eastern Province.

Drone attacks continued in the morning, according to reports. At 05:30, two drones were destroyed in the Eastern Province, and at 06:52, ten drones were destroyed in both regions. Finally, at 09:33 in the morning, four more drones were destroyed in Riyadh, bringing the total number of drones destroyed to 29. The ministry stated that it will strongly confront such moves that threaten the security and stability of the country.
