Indian expat wins 200,000 dirhams in Mahzooz draw

A UAE-based Indian expat has won 200,000 dirhams ($54,451) at the weekly Mahzooz draw in Dubai held on Jan 16, the media reported.

"I was very excited to be playing for the first time. I actually missed watching the live draw, so I checked the results the following morning and it was only then that I realised I had won. Finding this out was a brilliant feeling and I am very happy," Gulf News quoted Shivin Wilson, who works as an engineer at a petrochemical plant, as saying.

Hailing from Kerala, Wilson said he will allocate part of his winnings to pursue career-related qualifications and use the rest of the money to support his parents.

This week's Mahzooz draw, organized by EWINGS, witnessed five lucky winners who got five of the six winning numbers right and thereby carrying home a total of 200,000 dirhams as reward.

Additionally, 195 people won 1000 dirhams each, while 2888 lucky ones were eligible to participate in the draw for free. A total of 1,296,080 AED prize money were handed over to the lucky ones.

Mahzooz is the GCC's only weekly live draw that offers players a life-changing opportunity with millions of dirhams to be won every week. 

The next draw is to win the first prize of the Mahzooz Weekly draw, 50 million dirhams. For those who missed out on this week's draw, participants can register for the draw by purchasing an Al Emarat bottle of water for 35 dirhams on the mahzooz.ae website.

The next draw is held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 9:00 pm UAE time, as usual, participants will have another shot at it in the draw next Saturday.
