As the date of NEET-UG draws near, medical aspirants are taking to Twitter demanding postponement of the medical entrance examination to October with the hashtag #PostponeNEETUGSeptToOctober. Aspirants have cited the change in the exam pattern on short notice, the time requirement to fill the application, and also the possibility of a third wave for the demand. Several also referred to the rescheduling of the fourth session of JEE Mains.
As per the new proposed pattern of the NEET question paper, students shall have internal choices. The question paper shall have two sections. While one with 35 questions would be mandatory, the other will have 15 questions, out of which students have to answer only 10. The exam is presently scheduled to be held on September 12.
