Kerala announces a package of Rs 3,434 Cr for MSMEs

Thiruvananthapuram: The government has approved a special package for the revival of micro small and medium enterprises in the state.

A total of 3,434 crore would be allotted, said the Chief Minister at the press conference.

The consolation package is to be implemented through the department of industries in the wake of COVID-19 situation.

As well as attracting Industries suitable to our state, the environs for the industry have to be improved, he said.

A major project regarding this will be implemented.

The package covers extending of paying off interest to loans for enterprises by six months.

Special loans be allocated to micro, small and medium enterprises.

Three months rents of standard design factories to be waived, among others.
