Thiruvananthapuram: PSC Bulletin, the official mouthpiece of Kerala PSC, has echoed the Sangh parivar allegations against Tablighi Jamaat conference held in Nizamuddin Markaz, Delhi. The magazine has copied the allegation that the Tablighi conference spread the Coronavirus nationwide, as such.
In the current affairs section of its April 15 issue, item 19 reads: Tabligh religious conference which caused the spread of Coronavirus to several citizens was held at: Nizamuddin (New Delhi). The section briefs major events that happened in the previous month.
Observers express surprise that even during the an item of the hate campaign of the BJP and Sangh parivar has found a place in the official journal of PSC, a constitutional body of Kerala. Although the allegation was later exposed as a part of the racial propaganda of the sangh parivar, the PSC publication did not spare it.
The current affairs section is prepared by A. Sreekumar and B. Rajeshkumar. A PSC member is in charge of the bulletin and PSC Secretary is the general editor. Following the allegation, the PSC on Monday removed three of its employees from the editorial department and served show cause notice to them. PSC chairman said that the action was in taking moral responsibility for the wrong mention.
