The general strike begins at midnight

Thiruvananthapuram: The 24-hour nation-wide strike called by ten trade unions will begin at midnight on Tuesday.

The joint front of trade unions called the strike in protest against ‘ anti-labour’ policies of the central government.

The union leaders said that shops and businesses in the state will remain shut through the strike from midnight to midnight.
