COVID-19: 6 new cases in Kerala, 114 under treatment

Thiruvananthapuram: Six more cases of COVID-19 were detected in Kerala on Monday, taking the total activecases to 114,even as the state government decided to test all those in quarantine in two to three days.

So far, 408 people have been detected positive for the virus, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan told reporters here.

"At least 46,000 people are under surveillance, while 398 undergoing treatment in various hospitals,including 62 admitted on Monday," Vijayan said.

Samples of 19,756 have been sent for testing and 19,074 have returned negative.

Twentyone cases were declared cured today.

The chief minister said the state will test all those in quarantine within 2-3 days.
