Pala: The plus one student, who had been hit with a hammer during a sports event, died on Monday evening.
Afeel Johnson sustained injuries 17 days ago during the state junior sports meet. He was undergoing treatment at the Kottayam Medical College, where he had been admitted on October 4.
A student of St. Thomas Higher Secondary School, Pala, he was volunteering at the sports event when the incident occurred.
