Govt relaxes license requirements for MSME entrepreneurs

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala assembly on Wednesday passed a bill aiming at boosting investment in the state.

The bill will allow entrepreneurs to start micro and medium industry investing up to Rs 10 crore without having to obtaining any license from the government.

The innovative bill would, according to Industries Minister EP Jayarajan, boost confidence of investors.

All an investor need to do is to submit an affidavit at the industrial department’s single window clearance system, he said.
