Plus Two exam fraud: two students allowed to write SAY exam

Kozhikode: Authorities have directed two Plus Two students, whose results were withheld over malpractice, to take the Save A Year (SAY) exam so that they will be not be denied a chance for higher studies.

The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) made the direction to the students at Government Higher Secondary School, Neeleswaram, near Mukkom in Kozhikode district.

Their answer scripts in the English language paper were found to have been written by Nishad V. Mohammed, a teacher for Computer Applications at the school.

The results of the third student would be declared on Wednesday after only some corrections were found to have carried out in the answer script.

Following the controversy, authorities suspended a few officials after their involvement in the irregularity was found.
