Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday appealed to opposition leaders and MLAs not to pull out of Loka Kerala Sabha and he urged them not to take any hasty decision on the matter either.

Loka Kerala Sabha, he said, was aimed at ensuring participation of the NRKs in Kerala's development activities in every sphere.

The Sabha has been formed above political considerations and its activities will continue irrespective of the governments in power. 

Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala and UDF MLAs had decided to pull out of the committees of Loka Kerala Sabha protesting the suicide of NRK businessman Sajan.
