Cyclone ‘Vayu’ to be formed Over Arabian Sea

New Delhi: Just as monsoon clouds gather over India, the weather department on Sunday made a bleak forecast of a low-pressure system developing over Arabian Sea.

The system could morph itself by Wednesday into a cyclonic storm called ‘ Vayu’ which many fears might trammel the movement of monsoon.

However, meteorologists hold that it may not have any major impact on the rains.

A team of experts located the pressure system near Kavaratti, capital of the Union Territory of Lakshadweep as on Sunday.

Across Kerala disrupted rains fell over the night just as heat receded giving people a whiff cool.
