Jacob Thomas asks Kerala govt to reinstate him

Thiruvananthapuram:  DGP Jacob Thomas wrote to the state government asking to reinstate him implementing the order of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT).

In his letter to the Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, and General Administration Department, Jacob Thomas sought to reinstate him in service with immediate effect with a suitable posting.

He also mentioned, reportedly, in the letter that he was the senior-most DGP in the state and be given a post commensurate with his seniority.

Government sources said the State would challenge the CAT’s order in the Kerala High Court after obtaining the copy of the order.
