Hold exams in the morning: State Child Rights Commission

Thiruvananthapuram: The state Child Rights Commission told the department of education not to conduct exams from grade one to Plus two in the afternoon during summer months.

In case of difficulties in keeping to this guideline, exams should be held in both morning and evening.  Authorities should ensure that there are fans, light, and heat-reducing systems in place.

Also, students should not be directly exposed to the sun either before or after the exams.
