Kumbalam: Police have taken into custody four in connection with the murder and dumping of a youth at a swamp at Nettoor in Ernakulam. The four in custody are reportedly his friends.
Police identified the deceased as Arjun (20), native of Kumbalam here, and the body was found at 4.30 pm on Thursday.
Arjun, son of M S Vidyan of Mannanattu in Kumbalam, had been missing since July 2 nd and a complaint had been lodged at the Panagad police station a week ago.
Police had earlier questioned Arjun’s friends but let them go, causing widespread complaints.
Before Arjun’s body was found, his father had filed a habeas corpus in the Kerala High Court.
