Muslim League will insist on getting three seats in LS polls

New Delhi:  Muslim League will demand three seats in Kerala from the United Democratic Front (UDF) in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.  Party's National Secretary  PK Kunhalikutty,  while talking to mediapersons after the party's national secretariat meeting here,  said that the party will persist with the demand,  and that the party deserved that many seats.

Which seats should be given to the League is to be decided by the UDF,  and the decision need not necessarily be taken on Friday at the UDF meeting.

The national secretariat called on the people to strengthen the secular block and defeat BJP in the Lok  Sabha elections.   Although the League will contest in seats outside Kerala also,  that will not be at the cost of enabling BJP win them,  and it will try to enter into alliance with secular parties.   National President Prof Qatar Mideen, Treasurer PV Abdul Wahab MP,  and National Organizing Secretary ET Mohammed Basheer were with Kunhalikutty when he met mediapersons.
