CAB: Social groups calls for hartal on 17th

Thiruvananthapuram: A collective of different organisations convened here on Thursday has called for hartal on 17th December 2019, Tuesday urging the government to repeal the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) and drop National Register of Citizens (NRC). The strike will be observed from 6 am to 6 pm.

The RSS project to deny Indian citizenship rights to the Muslims is behind the bill. The leaders of the organisations urged the political, social and religious leaders to join hands to resist the bill.
