KS Radhakrishnan's Facebook post creates furore

Kochi:  A facebook post,  in connection with Sri Lankan blasts, put by former PSC chairman,  and vice chancellor of Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady,  KS Radhakrishnan with controversial remarks has created a ruckus.  Radhakrishnan, while expressing his astonishment at the reluctance of the society to condemn the blasts, said he would like to know the response of actors like Mammootty and Fahad Fazil in this regard.

"The public should come forward to end the mass violence committed by Islamic terrorism whichin different versions is committing the same crime. In its initial phase, it was Lashkar-e-Taiba. Now it is National Thouheed Jamaat.  Bin Laden and Sahran Hashim are committing violence with a similar character.

These groups want to destroy the democratic beliefs and try to bring the world under their faiths. The blast which happened on Easter day at a church in Sri Lanka is the latest instance in this regard. I am really bewildered to see that our society has not come forward to condemn this violence.  All social figures, regardless of left or right, should condemn this incident. Would like to know what the actors from Mammootty to Fahad Fazil have to say in this regard," ran the Facebook post.

Many people have come out  with strong response against the post.

"Radhakrishnan Sir, was it after being a sanghi you could spread venom by saying from Mammootty to Fahad. I am ashamed to remember you were the PSC chairman and VC in Kerala," a comment reads.  Another post reads that Radhakrishnan is an example of a Congress man becoming BJP and he becoming a communalist.
