Small parties should join hands to protect marginalised: Mayawati

Thiruvananthapuram: Addressing party workers at the state capital, BSP leader Mayawati said small parties should join hands to stop two major parties’ “unregulated exploitation of the marginalised’.

Kicking start her party’s election campaign in the state, Mayawati said two parties had been using their election manifesto to entice voters. Instead of helping people, they hoodwink them.

Grand old parties use tool like The CBI, Income Tax Department, enforcement agencies and opinions polls and surveys to settle political scores ahead of polls, thus ensuring their victory.

They have done little in uplifting Scheduled Castes/Tribes, minorities like Muslims and converted Christians.
