Thiruvananthapuram: Actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan has called for a broad alliance of democratic forces to fight fascist forces in the country.
The actor was speaking to media persons after meeting Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan here on Sunday.
Mr. Haasan said he visited Mr. Vijayan to invite him to the meeting of the actor's political outfit, Makkal Nethi Mayyam.
