ADB and World Bank offers help, focus to infrastructure

Thiruvananthapuram: ADB and World Bank have offered help for rebuilding Kerala.

Primary help will be offered for developing infrastructure. The representatives of both the banks will said that additional focus will be given for cleanliness as well.

Loans will be provided for rebuilding roads and bridges destroyed in floods, drinking water distribution and power distribution.

Kerala should submit the plan for this. Help will be provided on the basis of this plan. Loans will be provided considering the situation in the state.

The discussion was conducted by Nisham Abdu, head of World Bank and Kenishi Yokoyama, who is the head of ADB in India. 

Finance minister Dr.Thomas Isaac, chief secretary Tom Jose and secretaries of other departments participated in the meeting.

The team will meet Pinarayi Vijayan in the evening.
