Kannur: An LPG tanker overturned near Sreepuram School in Pallikkunnu, Kannur. Police informed that there was no gas leakage.
The accident happened about 2 am on Saturday. The lorry apparently at high speed hit the divider and went out of control to overturn.
There has not been any casualty. Following the accident, traffic in the national highway came to a halt.
Residents of Kannur easily recall a similar LPG tanker accident in August 2012 in which the lorry at high speed overtuned after hitting the divider.
