Thiruvananthapuram: Self-finance medical college managements have approached Kerala High Court seeking a hike in fees. A petition filed in the court has sought to hike fees to Rs. 11 lakh.
The state-government appointed Justice R. Rajendrababu Committee had restructured MBBS and BDS fee earlier in which MBBS fee was lowered and fixed between Rs. 5-5.25 lakhs. The committee fixed the fee as per the expenditure figures submitted by the self-finance colleges.
