Kollam: The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has called for a statewide dawn to dusk hartal on Wednesday to protest the denial of bail to its leader Abdul Nasser Madani by a Bengaluru court.
Madani had submitted the bail plea in order to attend the wedding of his son Umar Mukhthar to be held at Thalassery on August 9.
PDP state working committee chairman Poonthura Siraj announced the hartal in a press conference.
