The 'madam' in actress assault case is Kavya, claims Pulsar Suni

Kochi: Pulsar Suni, the key accused in the actress assault case, has revealed the identity of the ‘madam’ that he has been discussing for a long time as part of the ongoing investigation.

In a shocking development in the case, Suni on Wednesday claimed that it was actress Kavya Madhavan who had given instructions to him.

Pulsar Suni made the allegations while he was being taken to Chief Judicial Magistrate court in Ernakulam. "Yes, Kavya is my madam. Haven't I told you before?", he said when the media asked him about the ‘madam’. "I'm a liar. Why do you want to listen to my confessions?", he said.

Kavya Madhavan's name had cropped up several times during the ocurse of interrogation in the case. He boutique in Kochi was raided by the police in July after Suni claimed that he deposited a memory card with photos of the kidnapped actress at the shop.

Although Kavya had told the police that he did not know Suni, he had claimed that the actress knew him very well. Kavya was questioned along with her mother was questioned last month in the case.

Suni had claimed earlier that ‘madam’ was not aware of the conspiracy to attack the actress as her role was limited to giving him money.

Actor Dileep and Kavya wedded in November last year. Dileep, arrested on July 10 in the case, was on Tuesday denied bail for the third time as the high Court cited strong evidence of his involvement in the attack against the female actor.

Dileep, charged with various IPC offences, including criminal conspiracy, has been lodged in a jail in his home town Aluva since his arrest.

Police have claimed that the conspiracy to abduct and assault the actress in a moving car on February 17 and film the act was hatched by Dileep.
