New Delhi: The Supreme Court will consider the plea filed by the Kerala Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ) asking to quash the media ban in courts in Kerala and to open the media room in the High Court.
The petition will be considered after the Puja holidays.
The apex court asked whether the problem can be solved in the High Court itself. However, the journalists' union told the court that the advocates were not ready to appear in the High Court. Following this, the Court informed that it will consider their petition.
Advocate Wills Mathews, representing the Journalists Union, said in the plea that ban on the media was against the Constitution.
