V.S hits out at Advocate Damodaran

Thiruvananthapuram: Veteran CPI(M) leader V.S Achuthanandan Wednesday hit out at senior lawyer M.K. Damodaran for his comment that  a high-level conspiracy was hatched to malign him.

“People will dismiss allegations that he had raised,” Achuthanandan told reporters.

On Tuesday, the government had told the Kerala High Court that M.K. Damodaran was not to take up the assignment of advisor to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan

This was pointed out by Ranjith Thampan, Additional Advocate General, in the Kerala High Court to a petition filed by state BJP president Kummanem Rajasekheran questioning the rationale behind

Damodaran's reported appointment as the Chief Minister's legal advisor had come under heavy attack from the Congress-led United Democratic Front and the BJP.
