Strict action should be taken against those attacked T.P Sreenivasan: VS

Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition leader V.S Achuthanandan Saturday said strict action should be taken against those who had attacked former diplomat T.P Sreenivasan.

“Action should be taken against the culprits by the people concerned,” said Achuthanandan.

“Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, who had withdrawn cases against the KSU activists for attacking IAS officer Keshavendra Kumar, has no right to condemn the assault on Sreenivasan,” the CPI(M) veteran also said.

On Friday, Sreenivasan was assaulted by SFI activists, who were protesting against the commercialisation of higher education, at Kovalam in Thiruvananthapuram.
