Gave RS 75 lakh to Aryadan Muhammed, reiterates Saritha Nair

Kochi: Solar scam prime accused Saritha Nair, while deposing before the Justice (Rtd) Sivarajan Commission probing the solar scam, reiterated that she had given RS 75 lakh to Electricity Minister Aryadan Muhammed.

Saritha said it was the minister’s personal assistant Keshavan who asked for the bribe in December 2011. He said ‘things’ would move only if she paid money.

She said she handed over the money to Keshavan at the minister’s Manmohan Bungalow in Thiruvananthapuram on December 6. “It was the money collected from the investors. The minster demanded more money when I talked to him on the phone after that,” she said.

While talking to the media after her cross examination before the commission in the case, Saritha said she would produce more digital evidence to back her arguments.
