Opposition creates uproar on day two, Assembly adjourned

Thiruvananthapuram: The Assembly was adjourned for the day on Wednesday after the LDF Opposition created uproar over the bar bribery case.

When the session began in the morning, the opposition members raised slogans and banners after plunging into the well of the House.

Following the Speaker’s request not to disrupt the Question Hour, the opposition relented to the request.

V S Sunil Kumar of the CPI later moved an adjournment over the bar bribery case. However, the Speaker rejected the adjournment motion stating that the issue was under the court’s observation. Following it, the entire Opposition member walked out of the Assembly.
