Thiruvananthapuram: Administrative Reforms Commission chairman V.S Achuthanandan has come out against the LDF government for softening its stand on the illegal construction in the state.
Achuthanandan in a statement said the government should stay away from its move encouraging the illegal constructions in the state.
“The government should not shield those who have breached the conservation of paddy land and wetland act,” said the CPI-M veteran, adding that “I had opposed those kinds of activities while the UDF was in the reign.”
