VS raises Rs 100 cr corruption allegation against Vellapally Natesan

Alappuzha: Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan on Wednesday alleged that SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellapally Natesan had accepted crores of rupees as bribe for the appointments in the institutes under Sree Narayana Trust.

“Natesan had accepted around RS 100 crore as bribery in four-five years for the appointments in the institutes under the S N Trust. He uses his own name instead of Sree Narayana Guru while naming the colleges. There is no worse insult to Guru than that,” VS said.

“Has any Ezhava person been appointment in any of his colleges without bribe? He uses that money to add to his wealth. He hasn’t used any rupee for the betterment of the Ezhavas,” the Marxist leader said.

VS said Natesan was cozying up to the RSS to cover up his own wrongdoings. "His deeds will harm the teachings of Guru.”

He was talking at a seminar conducted by the CPI-M against communalism at Kanichukulangara here.
