Govt not to move appeal against court directive in bar bribery case

Thiruvananthapuram: The State government has decided not to move an appeal in the High Court against the vigilance court directive in the bar bribery case.

The government has received a legal advice to file a revision petition instead of moving an appeal against the directive.

The Vigilance will file the petition seeking the remarks against the department be removed from the court order.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy held discussions with advocate-general K P Dandapani at Aluva, Kochi Friday morning on future course of action.
