VS trains guns on CPI-M state leadership again

Thiruvananthapuram: Defending his dissent over the way new state secretariat of the CPI(M) was constituted, Opposition leader  V.S Achuthanandan Sunday said the internal criticism in the party should not be seen as a rebel voice.

“The internal criticism in the party should not be seen as a rebel voice. It would only help the opponents,” Achuthanandan said in an interview to a news channel.

“Kodiyeri too keeps the same stand as that of former secretary Pinarayi Vijayan on some issues,” he alleged.

Saying that the party should change its attitude towards the RSP in the current context, the CPI(M) veteran also sought the Central leadership’s intervention for it.

Achuthanandan was dropped from the party's newly formed 15-member state secretariat.
