Lie detector test: Tharoor says will cooperate in probe into Sunanda's death

Thiruvananthapuram: Former Union Minister and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on Friday said he would cooperate "100 percent" in the investigation into the death of his wife Sunanda Pushkar.

Reacting to the Delhi police seeking court permission to conduct lie detector test of three key witnesses to verify certain evidence in the case, Tharoor said that "I have nothing to say now on an issue in which police investigation is progressing.'

"Let the police do their job. I will not disturb them...I will cooperate with investigation 100 per cent," he said.

"I have got something to say. But I will speak after the investigation is over," he added.

The Delhi Police had approached a court seeking permission to carry out polygraph test on Narain Singh, who is domestic help of Tharoor, driver Bajrangi and family friend Sanjay Dewan.
