Kochi: The police Friday nabbed the main accused, who was on a run, in the cocaine case.
Okova Chikosi Kolins, a native of Nigeria, was arrested from North Goa with the help of the Goa police.
Police said Chikosi was the one who was behind distribution of cocaine to the smokers party in Kochi.
On Thursday, the Ernakulam District Principal and Sessions Court had extended the remand of the five person accused in the cocaine case, including actor Shine Tom, until March 19.
After extending the remand, Shine told reporters that the blood samples had shown that I had not used drugs. “I went to the apartment for discussing a film,” he said.
He was taken to the Ernakulam Sub-Jail, while the others were sent to the Viyoor Central Jail.
