KPCC won’t intervene into P.C George issue: Sudheeran

Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC president V.M Sudheeran Saturday said the Congress party would not intervene into the issue of Kerala Congress (M) leader and Finance Minister K.M. Mani’s stubborn stand on the removal of his acerbic party colleague P.C. George as Government chief whip.

“The KPCC won’t intervene into the issue. I’ve discussed the matter with the Chief Minister. The UDF will take a decision on it after considering both stands of K.M Mani and P.C George,” Sudheeran told reporters.

Meanwhile, Kerala Congress(B) chief R. Balakrishna Pillai reacted to the recent KC(M) crisis, saying that the foundation stone of the UDF has been shaken.

“I think, P.C George will be ousted from the UDF after the Aruvikkara election,” he said.
