Thiruvananthapuram: CPI (M) state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan Saturday alleged there were attempts to sabotage the bar bribery case.
“An attempt is being made to sabotage the probe in the bar bribery case by not filing chargesheet in the court,” Kodiyeri told reporters.
“The government is interfering in the power of the judiciary,” he alleged.
He also sought an independent probe against Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in the wake of Fenny Balakrishnan’s revelations in connection with the solar case.
