Antony Raju seeks ouster of P C George from party

Kottayam: Kerala Congress (M) State general secretary Antony Raju on Friday said defiant P C George should be ousted from the party.

“P C George’s activities are against the Kerala Congress (M). Fielding a candidate of his own for Aruvikkara bypoll was a clear move against the party. He is supporting the anti-UDF campaign through his stand,” Raju told the media.

He added that the steering committee meeting of the KC(M), scheduled to be held in Ernakulam on Sunday, will discuss the matter of sacking George from the party.

Meanwhile, George responded saying he is not ready to a compromise with the party chief K M Mani, who is accused of taking bribe from the bar owners.
