SC expresses displeasure over delay in Bengaluru blasts trial

New Delhi: The Supreme Court Friday expressed displeasure over the delay by the NIA court in completing the trial in the Bengaluru blasts case.

While hearing Abdul Nasser Ma’dani plea, the apex court also asked the Karnataka government to explore the possibility of setting up a special court to speed up the trail proceedings in the case.

The court asked the Karnataka government to submit its reply within two weeks.

Ma’dani, in his plea, had asked the Supreme Court to shift the case trial proceedings to the Parpanna Agrahara jail court.

Abdul Nasser Ma’dani faces charges in the 2008 Bengaluru serial blasts case.
