Thrissur: Three elephants ran amok and created a tense situation during the ‘Aanayoottu’ (feeding of elephants) festival held at the Vadakkumnathan Temple in Thrissur on Friday morning.
The incident happened at around 10.30 am when they were taken out after feeding them.
No one was injured in the incident.
They were immediately brought under control by the elephant squad. One of the elephants ran amok almost two kilometres away.
