UDF Govt appeasing RSS, alleges Opposition

Thiruvananthapuram: The LDF Opposition Tuesday has alleged in the Assembly that the UDF government is appeasing the RSS in the state.

E.P Jayarajan of the CPI(M), who moved an adjournment motion to discuss the incident in which a boy was stabbed to death by his neighbour in Kasargod, has said the BJP and RSS behave in a licentious way.

In a reply to it, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala has said the United Democratic Front (UDF) government does not have a policy of appeasing the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

“Neither the government nor the Congress doesn’t have any responsibility to shield the RSS. The probe into the incident is going on in the right direction,” he said.

Following the Home Minister’s reply, the Speaker rejected the adjournment motion and the Opposition walked out of the Assembly.
